Some brand campaigns are built around a moment. This one is built around a person.

The Heart Behind the Collection

The initiative honors Jessi Holland, a member of the Salty Mermaid team who recently passed away following a battle with breast cancer. Holland was described as the heart of the team, someone who left a lasting impact on both the brand and the people behind it.

“This year, Salty Mermaid lost one of the most integral members of our team, Jessi Holland, after her battle with breast cancer,” said SJ Porreca, CEO and designer of Salty Mermaid. “For us, this month is about much more than selling products.”

Porreca said the month is about honoring Jessi, raising funds for research, and bringing the community together to make a difference for the individuals and families impacted by this disease.

This is about a team turning a tragic loss into something that gives back.

What’s in the ‘Pink for a Purpose’ Collection

The collection is a mix of pink bikinis, one-pieces and apparel, from soft shades to the brand’s signature bold prints. Whether you’re a blush-and-neutral person or you want a print that stops people mid-scroll, there’s something for you. Every purchase doubles as a way to give back, and each piece works across your swim and resortwear wardrobe.

Salty Mermaid is known for its chic coastal style and its-and-hers matching swimwear. Each piece is sustainably crafted and sourced in Colombia, in bold colors and cuts that go from a beach volleyball game to a cabana soirĂ©e without missing a beat. It’s easy to see why the brand has a loyal following in South Florida.
