This May, Arc Culinary’s Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen is serving up an exceptional lineup of culturally inspired dining experiences. Food lovers can indulge in distinctive events featuring Puerto Rican comfort food and the bold, vibrant flavors of Maize Mania. Ticket sales from every Chef Experience Dinner support Arc Broward’s mission of providing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities and other life challenges to realize their full potential.
Savor the soul-warming, traditional flavors of Puerto Rican Comfort Food on Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m. The four-course menu features piononos with sweet plantains, manchego cheese, and picadillo croquettes with a spicy roasted beet aioli; asopao de pescado y camarones, a fish and fresh Key West shrimp soup with rice, potatoes, onions, carrots, and a delicate white fish; carne guisada with Puerto Rican-style beef stew served with a sweet potato puree; and a decadent dessert.
Corn takes center stage at Maize Mania on Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. The four-course experience features a charred corn cheesy chowder served with corn riblets; two corn tortillas topped with elote and mixed mushrooms, queso fresco, cilantro, Tajin, and chipotle crema; Puerto Rican fish polenta served with red snapper chicharron, asparagus, and truffled popcorn; and a mouthwatering dessert still to be announced.
Tickets are $99 for the chef’s table or $89 for communal seating, including gratuity and alcoholic beverages.
Arc Culinary’s Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen offers a blend of mid-century classic and modern elegance, featuring a Chef’s Table, refined décor and an outdoor patio. Beyond Chef Experiences, the catering venue hosts private cooking classes, corporate meetings and events, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, small weddings and more for seated guests up to 49 and buffet or cocktail-style events up to 125 guests and provides full-service off-site catering. Arc Culinary and Arc Educates are revenue-generating social enterprises of Arc Broward that directly support programming for 1,200 children and adults with disabilities.
