EBONY Magazine, in partnership with Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, is excited to announce “EBONY FWD,” an exclusive two-day celebration at Art Basel dedicated to the brilliance of Black art. This remarkable event, supported by Nationwide, is scheduled for December 9 and 10, 2023, at The Temple House in Miami Beach, FL.
EBONY FWD will showcase a dynamic range of activities, including a Diaspora Art Exhibit, a culinary tasting experience, live performances, and a fireside chat, among other captivating features. The celebration aims to bring together a diverse audience to appreciate and engage with the art and culture of the African Diaspora.
The event will highlight an archival retrospective from EBONY Magazine, which has been a cultural touchstone for over 75 years. Additionally, selections from the Coca-Cola Company Fine Arts Collection will be on display, offering a unique perspective on contemporary art. Renowned American and international artists will be featured, including influential photographers, painters, and sculptors.
Among the notable guests are Eden Bridgeman, EBONY CEO & Chairwoman; Mariah The Scientist; Jason Carter, host of Inside South Florida; DJ Kitty Cash; Chef Amaris Jones; and celebrated artists Wonder Buhle, Cheryl Fox, Jon Moody, Morel Doucet, Tiffanie Anderson, and Tracy Guiteau.
