When I stepped onto the sands of Collins Park for the 21st annual PARAISO Miami Swim Week, it was instantly clear—this wasn’t just a fashion event. It was a movement. Over five dynamic days, Miami once again became the global heartbeat of swimwear fashion. The energy was electric, the crowds were elite, and every corner of the city buzzed with creativity and culture.

With more than 40 events across five days, PARAISO 2025 proved why it continues to be the industry’s top destination for resort and swimwear.

Honoring the Icons Who Shaped the Industry

This year introduced the Swimwear Icons Hall of Fame Gala, an elegant and powerful new tradition. The event honored major players who have transformed the swimwear landscape.

Megan Thee Stallion received the Cultural Icon award, celebrating her influence on fashion and self-expression. MJ Day, Editor-in-Chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, was recognized as a Media Icon for advancing body positivity. Meanwhile, Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman, founders of MONDAY SWIMWEAR, were named New Media Icons for their trailblazing digital influence.

This gala wasn’t just about accolades—it was about acknowledging those who’ve reshaped an entire industry.

Runway Moments That Defined the Week

The PARAISO tent on Collins Park beach set the stage for many of the week’s most unforgettable moments.

The opening runway show, curated by Vogue Mexico and Latin America, featured bold, Latin American designs from brands such as SER x Andrea Agudelo, Sinesia Karol, and Bee Surreal. Each look told a story—rich textures, vibrant colors, and modern silhouettes spotlighted regional artistry with a global appeal.

MONDAY SWIM’s neutral-toned collection brought a resort-ready sophistication. Their show embodied understated elegance and effortless femininity.

And then came Hot Girl Summer—the highly anticipated swimwear line by Megan Thee Stallion. She walked the runway herself, debuting a collection full of vibrant prints, flirty cuts, and unstoppable energy. The crowd was on their feet. It was the most talked-about moment of the week.

Luxury and Lifestyle at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach

Beyond the tent, PARAISO expanded its footprint through a strategic partnership with The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach and the José Andrés Group. Together, they created an elevated experience that blended luxury, fashion, and lifestyle.

Guests attended open-to-the-public poolside pop-ups featuring SS25 collections from America & Beyond, Page Beach, and D29 by Gabriela Berlingeri. Attendees sipped cocktails, enjoyed sweeping ocean views, and shopped the latest designs in real time.

Miami-based brand SIGAL also hosted a pop-up at the Ritz throughout the weekend, offering one of the most immersive retail activations of the week.

Designer Highlights and Off-Site Shows

On Friday, a standout lineup of Cruise 2026 collections lit up the runway. SHAN impressed with sophisticated resort wear, while Leslie Amon, presented by CoverGirl, delivered a French-inspired collection fit for both Miami and St. Tropez.

That same evening, Montce held a private off-site show at Casa Faena, and Cupshe transformed the rooftop of 1111 Lincoln Road into a high-fashion space, merging architecture with artful swimwear.

At the Shelborne by Proper, the Stitch Lab Showroom featured an incredible mix of Latin American talent, including Carolina Socías, Adriana Fernández, and Filippa K, showcasing a new generation of design excellence.

Saturday Sweat and Style

The day started early with a sunrise Bikini Body workout at Nikki Beach led by Allegra Paris in custom Luli Fama athleisure. After the session, fashion editors and industry insiders headed to a chic brunch at Abbalé, where fashion and networking collided.

Later, SIGAL’s Resort 26 collection debuted at the oceanside DiLido Beach Bar, revealing hand-painted prints inspired by the desert landscapes of New Mexico. Guests dined and watched the show unfold against a dreamy backdrop curated by the José Andrés Group.

Back at the PARAISO tent, Luli Fama delivered high-energy prints and a surprise dance number. AZULU, in partnership with MINI, combined Spanish and Arab influences in a stunning collection. Closing the night, Oséree dazzled with a finale filled with shimmer, confidence, and unapologetic French flair.

A Final Day to Remember

The final day opened with a calming sunrise yoga session, hosted by LaCroix at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. Led by Coach Jeanny Gallo, the class offered guests a refreshing stretch to start their day.

Finale runway shows didn’t disappoint. VoLo Foundation x Syrena Swimwear opened with a two-person dance performance before showcasing a bold, glamourous collection. Spotlight Swim Collective introduced labels like Aventura Swim, Bolde, and Mariella Swim, offering bold prints and versatile silhouettes.

The night’s final show, Oceanus x SOJOS, was a triumph in sustainable luxury. The Ocean Collection featured shimmering, hand-embroidered pieces made from recycled materials. Paired with statement eyewear from SOJOS, the looks radiated retro ’80s flair and closed the week on a high note.

Closing Out With Celebration and Legacy

To end the week, the fashion community gathered at Casa NEOS for a closing celebration hosted by Wilhelmina Models x Contra. It was a fitting finale—a joyful toast to a week that didn’t just set trends but defined the future of swimwear.
