A Major Stage for Innovation Arrives in Miami
Miami has become a magnet for founders and investors, and that energy is set to rise even higher this fall. On November 14 and 15, 2025, Black Ambition will host its 5th Annual Demo Day and Founders Forum at The Sacred Space Miami in Wynwood. The event will bring together entrepreneurs who are reshaping industries and redefining ownership.
Black Ambition was created by Pharrell Williams to close the gap for underestimated founders who historically have been denied a fair shot at capital and mentorship. The program has become a national force for economic mobility.
“There is genius everywhere,” Pharrell has said, and the event aims to make sure that talent gets the support it deserves.
Funding That Moves Ideas Forward
Interest in the prize continues to climb across the United States. Nearly 2,500 entrepreneurs applied this year for a chance to secure funding and high level connections. Twenty five finalists will receive more than 1 million dollars in awards:
• 20,000 dollars each for 5 HBCU Pre Accelerator winners
• 50,000 dollars each for 19 national finalists
• 100,000 dollars for the grand prize winner
• A 25,000 dollar People’s Choice Award selected live at the event
Beyond checks and recognition, the finalists gain direct access to investors, advisors, and cultural leaders who can open doors that have long been shut.
Two Days Designed for Impact
The experience is split into two focused programs:
Friday: Demo Day
Live pitches, founder showcases, alumni highlights, networking with industry decision makers, and a fireside conversation featuring Pharrell Williams and Mellody Hobson.
Saturday: Founders Forum
A half day of strategy sessions, storytelling workshops, and guidance from leaders including Steve Stoute, CEO of UnitedMasters.
The goal is simple. Help founders scale with confidence and connections. Create a community that pushes innovation forward.
A Record of Real Results
Since 2020, Black Ambition has made a measurable difference in the startup landscape:
• More than 25,000 entrepreneurs supported
• Over 1,175 founders mentored through the accelerator
• Millions in capital awarded
• A growing network of successful alumni leading companies across the country
It is a movement proving that when access grows, new power structures emerge.
