Tequila lovers rejoice! The Sunset Tequila & Mezcal Festival is returning to Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton, Florida, on November 4, 2023. This celebration of all thing’s agave features over 100 different tequilas and mezcals to sample, as well as Mexican street food, music, artisans, and tech.
The Sunset Tequila & Mezcal Festival is the perfect opportunity to learn about and try different types of tequila and mezcal. From Blanco to añejo to extra añejo, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. In addition to tequila and mezcal, there will be plenty of other food and drinks to sample at the festival. Mexican street food vendors will be serving up everything from tacos and burritos to quesadillas and churros. Sunset Tequila Festival is also hosting its first annual Cocktail Competition. Four mixologists will face off live on stage at the event, and the winner will take home $3,000 in cash for their boozy brilliance.
The Sunset Tequila & Mezcal Festival is more than just a place to drink tequila. There will also be live music, artisans selling handcrafted goods, and technology companies showcasing their latest products. So even if you’re not a big tequila fan, there’s still something for you to enjoy at the festival. Here are some tips for making the most of your experience at the Sunset Tequila & Mezcal Festival.
Purchase your tickets in advance: Tickets tend to sell out quickly, so it’s important to purchase yours in advance.
Arrive early: This will give you time to sample all the different tequilas and mezcals, and to enjoy the other activities that the festival has to offer.
Pace yourself: Don’t try to drink too much tequila too quickly. Take your time and enjoy each sip.
Eat something: It’s important to eat something before and during the festival to help absorb the alcohol.
Designate a driver: The festival is a great place to have fun, but it’s important to be safe. Designate a driver who will not be drinking so that everyone can get home safely.
VIP ticket holders will enjoy early admission one hour before the public, access to the Proximo Lounge with complimentary cocktails by Bootleg Greg, bites from Even Keel and Kapow Noodle Bar, and soon-to-open SubCulture concepts Penelope, Shaker & Pie, and El Segundo, a balcony concert viewing area and private bathrooms. They’ll also be treated to a hydration IV from IV Wellness to ward off post-festival hangovers.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Kula Cares, a Boca Raton-based organization that provides educational supplies to underserved communities. Every sip, beat, and bite will contribute to making a difference in the lives of others. So no matter what your interests are, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the Sunset Tequila & Mezcal Festival. So mark your calendars and get ready for a fun-filled day of agave spirits, Mexican food, music, and more!
