The incident, which also left two others injured, plunged the rapper into an unimaginable nightmare.
Now, Trina is turning that nightmare into a call to action. This Saturday, from 1 to 6 p.m., she will be hosting the event in proximity to the tragic crime scene. Miami’s 15 Avenue, along the stretch from Northwest 63 to 65 streets, will echo with Trina’s resolve, her tribute to her lost niece, and her pledge against gun violence. The week leading up to this powerful event saw Trina grace a 99 JAMZ event on Wednesday and is set to commemorate the anniversary of Exchange Miami, a popular nightclub in Miami Beach, on Thursday night. The emotion-charged week culminates with “The Welcome to Suga Land” on Saturday, followed by a post-event celebration at King of Diamonds, a renowned nightclub in northwest Miami-Dade.
