This isn’t just another storefront popping up in South Miami’s ever-growing retail scene. Think part boutique, part science lab, part art gallery — a space built for people who want their skincare backed by actual research, not just a pretty label.

Early previews started August 17, 2026, with the official Grand Opening landing on September 24, 2026. Mark your calendars now, because this one’s worth the hype.

A Brand Built on Science

Vivant isn’t a new name to dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and longtime skincare devotees, but the brand’s roots go back further than most people realize. Founded in 1990 by dermatologist and biochemist Dr. James E. Fulton alongside researcher Sara Fulton, Vivant was built on a foundation of hard science rather than trend-chasing. Dr. Fulton co-developed Retin-A, created stabilized Benzoyl Peroxide (still one of the most widely used acne treatments on the market), brought Mandelic Acid into mainstream skincare, and later developed the brand’s proprietary REt (RP)™ retinoid — engineered to deliver visible results with less irritation.

Every product is still made in-house at Vivant’s Miami laboratory, using small-batch production and USP-grade ingredients, with an emphasis on formulas that work at the cellular level across all skin tones and types.

Susan Fulton Arregui, Vivant’s CEO and Dr. Fulton’s daughter, framed the new space as a continuation of her parents’ original mission. She described the flagship as a place for people to learn about the science behind the brand, try the products firsthand, and experience the spirit of innovation that has guided the company since its founding.

Not Just a Store — A Full-On Skin Education Hub

Forget the rushed, transactional skincare shopping trip. At this flagship, you can actually book a one-on-one skin consultation with a licensed esthetician trained in Dr. Fulton’s clinic-tested four-step protocols — the same methodology dermatologists have trusted for decades. The space will also run educational programming on real, relevant topics like teen and adult acne and menopause-related skin changes, plus ongoing training for Vivant’s professional partners.

The Skincare Store That Doubles as an Art Gallery

Here’s the part that makes this flagship genuinely unlike anything else in South Florida’s beauty scene: it’s stocked with fine art. Rotating pieces from CEOs Susan Fulton Arregui and Richard Arregui’s personal collection include collage portraits by Wangechi Mutu, a large-scale wall installation by Park McArthur, and a collage work by Frida Orupabo. Even the display tables are art — custom metal pieces by Rafael Domenech engraved with the names of the breakthrough ingredients Dr. Fulton pioneered throughout his career.

As Richard Arregui put it, his father-in-law was never satisfied with just one idea — he was always questioning, researching, and chasing the next breakthrough. The space is basically a physical tribute to that restlessness.
