If you were following along for the KidSuper Spring/Summer 2027 show, you already know the origin story, and you know it’s a Miami one. Mitchell walked her runway debut that night at Nu Stadium, carrying a first look at the collaboration in front of 2,500 people, with the whole thing live-streamed back to Paris while Miami hosted a FIFA World Cup moment happening in its own backyard. Dillane didn’t quietly skip Paris Fashion Week, he moved the whole conversation to South Florida and made the city the backdrop for the collection’s debut. It was the kind of preview that was designed to make you wait, and wait we did. September 9 is when that wait pays off, and it feels only right that the collection born on a Miami pitch is finally landing in full.

Two Brands That Actually Make Sense Together

There’s a version of this collaboration that could have felt like a logo slap. This isn’t that. BÉIS built its identity on turning travel gear into something people actually want to be seen with, and KidSuper founder Colm Dillane has spent his career treating overlooked objects as blank canvases. Put those two instincts in a room together and a travel capsule was always going to be the outcome.

Dillane has said the idea came out of something painfully specific to his own life: years of hauling his collections from project to project not in proper luggage, but in cardboard boxes. That beat-up, well-traveled shipping box became the visual seed for one of the collection’s two signature prints, the Graffiti Cargo artwork, which takes the scuffed, hand-labeled look of a box that’s clearly been somewhere and turns it into a fully functional piece of luggage. The second print, Dillane’s Finale painting, brings his more expressive, hand-drawn style to the same silhouettes.

For Dillane, who is on the road constantly, the whole project comes down to a simple idea: luggage should have personality. He wants a bag he can spot immediately at baggage claim, something loud enough to be unmistakably his, and this collection is essentially that philosophy made shoppable.

What’s Actually Dropping

This isn’t a small capsule. The nine pieces span nearly every way you’d want to travel, and a few of them are genuinely new territory for BÉIS.

The headline piece is the brand’s first-ever Trunk, arriving as the Trunk Check-In Roller. It’s the kind of style BÉIS fans have been asking for, and it shows: a spacious 70/30 opening, detachable kickstand straps, braking wheels, and the kind of thoughtful internal organization the brand is known for.

Alongside it, the collection extends BÉIS’ sold-out Hybrid Roller line with a Hybrid Check-In and Carry-On, both built with the brand’s patent-pending Coupling System that lets multiple Hybrid rollers link together into a single rolling unit. Anyone who has tried to wrangle two suitcases and a stroller through an airport will understand why that detail matters.

Rounding things out is a Carryall Duffle, a Pro Travel Backpack, a Pro Travel Crossbody, Luggage Covers, and a Luggage Tag, giving the collection a full range from checked bag to personal item.

A Full-Circle Miami Moment

There’s something fitting about a collection this travel-obsessed having its origin story rooted in one of the most-traveled-to cities in the country. Miami didn’t just host a preview back in June, it set the tone for the entire rollout, giving the collaboration a backdrop that matched its themes of movement, culture, and global connection before a single piece was available to buy. For a city that treats fashion week off-sites, World Cup energy, and runway debuts as just another Tuesday, watching that stadium moment turn into an actual product drop feels like the payoff locals have been waiting on since June.

Mark Your Calendar

The BÉIS x KidSuper Collection launches Wednesday, September 9, on beistravel.com. After a summer of runway teasers and a Miami stadium debut, the pieces are finally about to be in people’s hands, and given how BÉIS drops have historically performed, this is one to set an alarm for.
