Miami Fashion Week opens its 10th-anniversary edition Tuesday, October 13, bringing six days of runway shows, industry events and fashion programming to venues across Miami-Dade. The milestone leads a week that shifts into high gear Friday and Saturday, when III Points takes over Mana Wynwood and iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina fills the Kaseya Center.

For South Florida, it’s a rare weekend when fashion, electronic music and Latin pop compete for space on the same calendar. Here’s how to plan around the shows, venues and overlapping dates.

A decade of Miami fashion stepping onto a bigger stage

Miami Fashion Week runs October 13–18. Over the past decade, the event has grown from a local showcase into an international calendar stop, connecting designers and audiences across Latin America, the Caribbean and beyond. The Miami Fashion Week anniversary announcement notes that the event is recognized by the CFDA’s Fashion Calendar.

The anniversary lineup also reflects how the week has expanded beyond the runway. It includes a gala, a summit and events in Coconut Grove, downtown Miami and Coral Gables. See the official runway calendar for schedule updates and ticket information.

Miami Fashion Week: dates, times and venues

  • Tuesday, October 13, Gala: The anniversary gala is scheduled at Queen Miami Beach. The event is set to feature designer Andres Otalora and a performance by Joaquina. The event listing says proceeds benefit Miami Dade College’s Miami Fashion Institute.
  • Wednesday, October 14, Summit: The MIAFW Summit takes place at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus, with discussions on fashion, technology, sustainability and digital innovation.
  • Thursday, October 15, 3 p.m., Jenny Polanco: Runway show at Mr. C Coconut Grove.

The Friday and Saturday shows at Freedom Tower are at 600 Biscayne Boulevard. For another way to experience the week, a Stitch Lab pop-up is scheduled for October 16–18 at 350 Miracle Mile, with participating designers and retail collections. Check the official calendar before setting out, particularly if you’re planning to move between venues on a show day.

Friday and Saturday bring three very different scenes

Fashion Week’s runway schedule runs alongside two major music events. III Points returns to Mana Wynwood on October 16–17, while Fiesta Latina takes over the Kaseya Center Saturday night. The venues are in different parts of Miami, so build in travel time rather than assuming it’s easy to catch everything.

III Points brings Miami talent to Wynwood

The 13th edition of III Points spans more than 10 stages at Mana Wynwood, with a lineup combining international headliners and local performers. The festival’s 2026 announcement describes a bill with more than 100 Miami-based artists alongside names including Charlotte de Witte, Four Tet, Underworld, Blood Orange, Flying Lotus, Parcels and Lil’ Kim.

That local presence is central to the festival’s identity: a sprawling Wynwood gathering that puts Miami’s dance, hip-hop and experimental music scenes on the same stages as international acts. Its expanded footprint includes stage and site upgrades, according to the festival announcement.

Fiesta Latina takes over the Kaseya Center

On Saturday, October 17, the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina is scheduled at the Kaseya Center, 601 Biscayne Boulevard. The official update lists performances by Anuel AA, Myke Towers, Farruko, Manuel Turizo, Eladio Carrión, FloyyMenor, Greeicy, Alleh and Rey Tony Y Helabusador, known as “Los Titis.” The event is hosted by Enrique Santos and will honor Lin-Manuel Miranda with the iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award.

An earlier lineup announcement also named Blessd; because performer lists can change, check the latest iHeartMedia update before making plans. Tickets are listed through Ticketmaster.

How to make the weekend work

Saturday is the main scheduling challenge. Fashion Week’s afternoon and evening shows at Freedom Tower overlap with a full day of III Points and Fiesta Latina that night. Pick a priority, or plan a tight itinerary around specific performances, and leave room for transit, entry lines and the distance between downtown Miami and Wynwood.

A few practical points:

  • Check the latest event schedules. Fashion Week’s official calendar and the festivals’ event pages are the best places to confirm details before leaving.
  • Allow time for travel and arrival. Freedom Tower and the Kaseya Center are both downtown, while Mana Wynwood is in the Wynwood district. The venues are relatively close by Miami standards, but traffic and event crowds can slow the trip.
  • Plan for the whole region. Visitors coming from Broward or communities closer to the Everglades should account for the longer journey into Miami and check their return options in advance.
  • Treat the calendar as a choice, not a checklist. A runway show, a festival set and an arena concert each have different entry and timing needs. Building in a buffer makes the day more manageable.

What’s next on South Florida’s culture calendar

The busy run continues later in the month. Miami Film Festival GEMS is scheduled for October 29 to November 5, and the OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival’s fall edition runs October 15–25 across Miami-Dade and Broward. The OUTshine festival site and GEMS program page have current screening information. South Florida Digest has also mapped more of the month’s programming in its October culture calendar.

But first comes Fashion Week’s anniversary opening tomorrow, and the Friday-to-Saturday stretch that will send the region from runway lights to Wynwood stages and downtown’s Latin pop spotlight. Across Miami, Broward and communities stretching toward the Everglades, it’s a week that shows just how many different ways South Florida makes culture.
