John James PR’s first-ever gifting suite brings together a curated roster of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands
While the rest of Miami Swim Week played out in sequins and strobe lights, John James PR quietly hosted one of the week’s most curated moments — an intimate, invite-only gifting suite that gave attendees actual room to breathe, discover, and connect with brands they genuinely wanted to know more about.

The Suite Life, John James PR’s first-ever gifting suite, made its debut this Swim Week as a deliberate counter programming move. No open doors, no chaotic crowds — just an appointment-only experience built around 35 carefully selected brands across beauty, fashion, wellness, suncare, and better-for-you snacking. For the creators, editors, and tastemakers who passed through, it landed exactly as intended: less sponsor wall, more really good edit.

The format itself was a statement. As the all-access era of gifting suites — loud, transactional, logo-first — continues to lose its shine, JJPR made a bet on careful curation over volume. That restraint showed up in every detail, from the brands in the room to the way the space was structured to actually let discovery happen.

On the beauty side, the suite balanced familiar names with genuine finds. Olaplex, Garnier, REFY and Tarte anchored the space with credibility, while Ontu, Woro Beauty, and Nailberry gave attendees the kind of discovery moment that actually results in a post you mean. Granado Rio de Janeiro — the 167-year-old Brazilian perfume and pharmacy brand quietly becoming a stateside obsession — brought an unexpected heritage cool to the fragrance corner. They had an array of scents from their collection to sample, with a special highlight on their Yes, Nos Temos Banana! scent. Farmacy Beauty, Kitsch, eos, JULE Lip Gloss, and Touchland filled out a beauty spread that covered everything from hair to lip to hand.

Suncare was well represented with Vacation and Sun Bum both in attendance — two brands that feel as native to South Florida as the heat itself. Spongelle added a bath and body dimension, rounding out the post-beach routine in full.
The fashion and lifestyle section felt especially dialed-in for Swim Week. Melissa Shoes brought its iconic Brazilian jelly footwear — a perfect fit for a week built around pool decks and rooftop parties. ALOHA Collection handled the waterproof bag situation, Carve Designs showed up for the woman who actually gets in the water, and Glampton’s clean, elevated towels were the kind of quietly useful discovery that sticks long after the week ends. SIGAL, Lascana, and LSCN by Lascana rounded out the swim and resort wear presence, and Corkcicle kept things cold and stylish.

The snacks and wellness table was a genuine surprise. Khloud’s protein popcorn was a sleeper hit of the suite. Lesser Evil, Skinny Dipped, Smart Sweets, Siete, and That’s it delivered a better-for-you spread that felt more like a curated pantry than an afterthought. Bloom Nutrition, GORGIE, Unwell, Finnsul, Chaser Water, and Gatsby covered the wellness, supplement, and drinks side — a nod to the growing overlap between beauty culture and functional wellness that defines where this space is heading.
The Suite Life was John James PR’s first gifting suite — and based on the energy it generated throughout the week, it won’t be their last. In a Swim Week landscape where more has long meant better, John James PR made a convincing case for the opposite. The brands that showed up here didn’t need the noise. And neither did the people who came to discover them.
